"Friends" Photo by Chris Tyree — John Harris, left, who lost his vision, gets a hand from friend and neighbor Larry Jones to Third Baptist church in Portsmouth. They are going for their daily free lunch on Friday afternoon, July 12, 2002. Larry can't walk well either and can only see out of one eye, but he has been to school for his disabilities and knows how to help John, who has become somewhat of a father figure to him. The walk is about two miles one way each day.
