40 Years, 40 Faces: Kim

Headshot of Kim Kroger

Mechanicsville, Virginia

Kim and her son lived with Kim’s parents until recently, when they helped her buy her first home. She loves that her new home has a backyard for her son and is only a few streets from her parents. While her son had health insurance, Kim did not, and she rarely sought medical help because of the high cost. But a friend encouraged her to contact Enroll Virginia, and soon Kim was able to qualify for help to pay for her own health insurance. She now operates her own home refurnishing and decorating business. Kim credits Enroll Virginia for helping her move her life.
