40 Years, 40 Faces: Linda

Headshot of Linda Shaw

Goodview, Virginia

Linda is a retired registered nurse. She wanted to do more medical volunteer work while she’s still able and needed help affording health insurance premiums until she is eligible for Medicare. Enroll Virginia’s Roanoke-based navigator helped her and her husband navigate the Marketplace to find the coverage they could afford. Having affordable healthcare has enabled Linda to volunteer more, which in turn is helping others stay healthy as well.
