Join us to learn about new tenant protections, ask questions, and share your experience as a tenant in Virginia.

Virginia renters are facing rising housing costs, eviction concerns, maintenance issues, and major changes in housing laws. This spring and summer alongside several community partners across the state, VPLC is hosting a series of Tenant Town Halls to help renters learn about new tenant protections, ask questions, and share their experiences. These events are designed to be welcoming, community-centered conversations. Participants will hear plain-language explanations of recent housing law changes and have the opportunity to discuss what is — and is not — working for tenants in their communities. We hope tenants, advocates, service providers, and community members will join us. Hosted in partnership with Legal Aid Society of Roanoke Valley.
